Inventory software for wholesalers: customers, suppliers and orders in one place
In wholesale, much of the work is about people before stock: what went to which customer, when goods arrive from which supplier, which carrier you use. StokTakip keeps those records in the same panel as your stock and orders.
Familiar problems for wholesalers and distributors
Scattered customer and supplier details
Tax numbers, addresses, payment terms and contacts sit in different files and phone books; a new colleague struggles to find the right details.
Large orders and stock
One wholesale order can tie up most of a product's stock. If stock isn't set aside when the order is placed, the same goods get promised to two customers.
Purchases and sales mixed together
When goods coming in from suppliers and shipments going out to customers share one ledger, it's hard to tell which movement is which.
Control over critical changes
A price change or a large stock adjustment made without a check in a team of several people can be costly.
Key features for wholesale
The key features for teams that work with customers and suppliers and prepare large orders; each feature has its own page with details.
Order tracking
Manage outbound (sales), inbound (purchase) and return orders in one list, kept apart by type. On a sales order, stock leaves the warehouse you choose as soon as the order is created, and comes back if it's cancelled.
See the featureMulti-warehouse management
Set up the main warehouse, cross-dock points or regional warehouses separately, and balance stock with transfers between them.
See the featurePermissions and approvals
Give sales, purchasing, accounting and warehouse teams their own roles; route price changes, stock adjustments and product deletion through a manager's approval.
See the featureReports
Follow monthly revenue from delivered sales orders, best sellers and the order fulfilment rate per warehouse.
See the featureStock alerts
Get an alert when frequently ordered products run low, and open the purchase order in time.

Example: from a supplier purchase to a customer shipment
A week at a wholesaler distributing household consumables:
Set up your records
Save customers with tax numbers and addresses, suppliers with payment terms and lead times, and carriers with their tracking address and account number.
Record the purchase
Open the order you place with the supplier for low items as an inbound order. After receiving the goods, add them to stock with a stock adjustment in the right warehouse.
Open the customer order
When creating a sales order, pick the customer from your saved customers or add a new one, then choose the products and the shipping warehouse. Stock is set aside at that moment.
Move the shipment along
Move the order to processing, shipped and delivered. Each status change is written to the order's history with who made it and when.
Review the month
Check monthly revenue, best sellers and the return rate in reports and plan next month's purchases.
Recommended plan: Professional
For distributors with separate sales, purchasing and warehouse teams, the Professional plan is a good start. As regional warehouses multiply or the team grows, the Enterprise plan removes the warehouse, product and user limits.

In practice: order in wholesale
Complete customer records before opening orders. Picking the customer from the list on a sales order stops the same company being saved several times under different spellings and lets you find all of a customer's orders under one name in the order list.
Fill in supplier lead times. When a stock alert comes in for a product, knowing how many days its supplier needs tells you how early to order. Setting the minimum stock level to cover that time keeps frequently ordered products from running out.
Check incoming goods before adding them to stock. An inbound order is a record and doesn't change stock; setting aside missing or damaged items and adding only the sound ones with a stock adjustment keeps sellable stock real.
Give sales and purchasing teams different roles. Sales representatives open orders while the purchasing lead manages purchases; requiring approval for price changes and stock adjustments keeps you in control as the team grows.
Frequently asked questions
What can I keep on a customer record?
Name, company, email, phone, tax number, address, city and country. Instead of deleting customers you no longer work with, you can mark them inactive.
Can I record suppliers' payment terms and lead times?
Yes. Supplier records have fields for a contact person, payment terms and lead time in days.
Can I follow a shipment by its tracking number?
You can save carriers with their tracking address, but StokTakip doesn't connect to carriers' systems or fetch shipment status itself. You move the order status along.
Does StokTakip issue invoices or e-invoices?
No. StokTakip focuses on stock, orders and warehouses, and is used alongside your accounting software for invoicing.
What happens to stock if I cancel a large order?
When a sales order is cancelled, the stock taken when it was created goes back; for regular and variant products it returns to the same warehouse.
